How to compare two texts
- Paste the original text on the left and the changed text on the right.
- Press Compare.
- Lines marked with a minus sign and a red background were removed, and lines marked with a plus sign and a green background were added.
Questions and answers
Does it compare word by word?
No. It compares line by line, so a small change inside a line shows as one line removed and one line added.
Do spaces count as changes?
Yes. A difference in spaces or capital letters makes two lines different.
Is there a size limit?
Each side can have up to 2000 lines.
Is my text uploaded?
No. The comparison runs in your browser.
