- Choose a photo or screenshot that contains text.
- Pick the language of the text.
- Press Extract text, then copy the result.

How accurate is it?
It works best on clear, straight, high-contrast text such as screenshots and scanned pages. Blurry photos, unusual fonts and handwriting give poor results, so always check the output.
Why does the first use take longer?
The language data has to be downloaded the first time you use a language. After that, your browser can reuse it.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The image is read on your device. Only the OCR code and the language data are downloaded from public servers.
